Filing a Declaration of Intent to Homeschool
A Declaration of Intent to provide Home-Based Instruction must be completed annually and returned to the Education Service Center (ESC), 302 - 2nd St. SE, Puyallup, WA 98372. Declarations must be returned within two weeks of the beginning of any public school Individual Progress Report (IRP) period, trimester, or semester.  If your child has previously attended a Puyallup public school, we ask that you withdraw your student upon filing your Declaration of Intent.
