Title I and/or LAP services are available in all twenty-one of Puyallup's Elementary Schools.
Each of our 21 elementary schools house LAP (Learning Assistance Program) staff to assist students in grades K-4 with literacy. In addition, nine elementary schools house TItle staff who focus on 5th & 6th grade literacy as well as K-6 mathematics.. These services are for students identified as needing extra assistance to meet grade level standards.
Students are served in small groups, focusing on supplemental learning support.
Title I and LAP staff collaborate closely with classroom teachers to ensure that the extra support is helping students meet grade level expectations.
