Summer Registration
Parents of students in kindergarten through twelfth grade may begin registering their children for the 2017-18 school year online at any time. 

Registration will also be held on the following Wednesdays at your area high school (Emerald Ridge High School, Rogers High School, or Puyallup High School) between 9:00-4:00 on July 26th, August 2nd, and August 9th.

Online Enrollment

Parents wishing to register students 
can complete the enrollment process using our new Online Enrollment tool. With access to a computer and the internet, this tool can be used to fill out the necessary enrollment paperwork electronically for new students at any grade level.

New elementary school students
Parents may register kindergartners and all other elementary students new to the district at the elementary schools in their attendance area. Parents should bring the necessary information to the school's main office. Registration hours vary by school. Contact your elementary school directly to determine registration times.

To register students for kindergarten and first grade, parents should bring a copy of their child’s immunization record, a birth certificate, and proof of address such as a lease agreement or utility bill.

To register students in grades two through six, parents should bring the child’s immunization record**, a last report card, and proof of address such as a current lease agreement or utility bill. (Click here to read information about required immunizations.)

**The Washington State Department of Health has a website that provides parents with the updated Certificate of Immunization Status form (which we require) and will fill in your child's immunization dates as well.  The dates come from a State data base of records from physicians and medical clinics. Parents just print out the form and sign it. This is the web address:  www.waiis.wa.gov.  If there are questions parents can call 360-236-3595.
 
Parents may also complete and bring the Puyallup School District Enrollment Packet - English or Spanish version.  For more information click on the Schools menu to find contact information for a specific elementary school.

New junior high school students
Parents may register their junior high students who are new to the district by calling the junior high school in their attendance area for specific registration information and to make an appointment to meet with a counselor.

Parents should bring the following information to the junior high school for the student being registered:

  • Immunization record** 
  • Transcript or last report card
  • Withdrawal information from the previous school
  • Proof of address such as a current utility bill or a lease agreement
  • Individualized education plan (IEP) if the student receives special services

Parents may also complete and bring hard copies of the Puyallup School District Enrollment Packet - English  or Spanish version. Click on the Schools menu to find contact information for a specific junior high school.
