Puyallup School District is proud of its highly acclaimed music department and has made a commitment to providing music and thesax player arts in the education of its young people. That commitment continues to be secured and expanded by careful planning, budgeting, and educating others in the importance of the arts.

Junior and senior high schools offer choral, band, and orchestra programs where students consistently strive for, and attain excellence in concerts and contests.

Elementary students receive instruction in the general music classroom twice each week and have the option of participating in either band or orchestra beginning at grade five.

singersOur community has had a longstanding commitment to the district's music program. Community partnerships have allowed students and staff to travel near and far. Whether it's marching in the local Daffodil parade, or singing in Russia, our music students experience life-changing performance opportunities.

We are proud of the community support for music education and the rich tradition found in Puyallup schools. In Puyallup, arts education is essential.
