Puyallup Digital Learning Graduation 2019

Congratulations to more than 1,750 Puyallup School District seniors who attended graduation at the Washington State Fairgrounds on June 14 and 15.

The weather was perfect as family and friends gathered to celebrate the hard work and great accomplishments of the class of 2019. There were smiles, hugs, and some tears as they listened to key note speakers, principals, and fellow classmates.

Graduation ceremonies included Emerald Ridge, Puyallup, Rogers, and Walker high schools, Puyallup Digital Learning, Indian Education, and Advance and Gateway programs.

The ceremony began with a congratulations to the seniors from Superintendent Dr. Tim Yeomans and followed by guest speaker from the Puyallup Indian Tribe and former Puyallup School District graduate Archie Cantrell.

Dancers performed for the ceremony in honor of the graduating seniors. Seniors were asked to come forward where they were blessed and presented with a ceremonial blanket and an eagle feather.
